Heather will be visiting Bowling Green this weekend to perform The Spark of Opposites on the last student composers’ forum of the semester!

Ben Taylor will be premiering a piece I have composed for him at this year’s Arts Extravaganza, a celebration of the arts here on campus at BGSU. The piece is titled Malestrom and is for trumpet, electroacoustic sounds, and live electronics.

Heather Stebbins will be performing my piece for cello and electroacoustic sounds at this year’s Third Practice Electroacoustic Music Festival. Her piece the forgotten dialect of autumn for violin and electroacoustic sounds will also be on the program.

Members of the Bowling Green State University Trombone Choir will be performing Emergence on the year’s first Praecepta concert titled “Presenting Praecepta.” Praecepta is a student run organization dedicated to the performance of new music in BGSU’s College of Musical Arts.

The Virginia Commonwealth University Trombone Choir will be doing a reading and recording session of a new piece I have composed for six trombones that was commissioned by David and Shirley Adams.
